racing, lvr-cup
LVR Cup season eleven finished on March 3, 2024 at the Circuit of the Americas. Butter_Fingers built the track, a home circuit for an Austin studio: about 3.5 miles, grandstands the whole way round, the tower and a full pit lane.
Three teams came in tied for the title: 57 Studios™, fireguy and LuckyGamerLVR. LuckyGamerLVR streamed the race on YouTube until the stream crashed, and one of our pit crew streamed it on Twitch.
Corner cutting cost time at the finale: two seconds for all four tires over the red and white curb, two seconds for any part of the car on the blue.
57 Studios took the championship. We never won a race this season. We finished near the front in every one.
